MICROWAVE APPLESAUCE

2 lbs. apples (6 to 8)
1/2 cup water		 1/2 to 1 cup sugar 
(amount varies according 
to apples used)


Wash, core and quarter apples. Combine apples and water in 2-quart microwave dish. Cover. Cook on high in microwave oven 8 to 10 minutes, or until apples are soft. Stir once during cooking. Put through a food mill or sieve. Add sugar and cinnamon while still hot. Serves 6.
